Salary Range: 28

• Contracted Employees- if a currently contracted employee is temporarily filling this role

they will be paid at range 28 and their current step.

• Non-contracted employees will be paid at step A
• Retirees will be paid at their step at retirement, no higher than step E

Summary:

Responsible for assisting students with significant needs across multiple domains to access the

learning environment as independently as possible. Duties include instructing small and large

groups in academic, sensory, independent living skills, recreation, community and/or social

skills. Assisting students with personal care services such as feeding, toileting, positioning and

supporting with mobility needs. Supervising students in various settings outside the classroom,

carrying out occupational or physical therapy activities as directed, administering assigned

medical tasks, performing required recordkeeping, monitoring behavior and implementing

behavior and health care plans.
