CTG is seeking to fill a .NET Solution Architect/Application Architect-Microsoft Business Applications opening for our client in Columbus, OH.

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

W2 only. No C2C

Duties:

  • Lead the architectural vision and define the technical roadmap for Microsoft Business Applications and .NET-based enterprise solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align technology strategies with organizational objectives, particularly within the energy and utility sector.
  • Design scalable, high-performing architectures leveraging cloud technologies, microservices, and API frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make strategic recommendations to support innovation and performance improvements.
  • Guide development teams in translating architectural designs into robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • Oversee integration efforts with Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and other Microsoft Business Applications.

Skills:

  • Proven expertise as a .NET Solution Architect with extensive experience in Microsoft Business Applications.
  • Strong energy and utility industry background.
  • Deep understanding of architectural frameworks and enterprise-level solution design.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), microservices architecture, and API lifecycle management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience:

  • Senior Level experience with a strong focus on technology architecture and enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple projects as a Solution Architect or Designer within the .NET ecosystem.
  • Successful track record of leading architecture efforts in large-scale, complex environments, particularly in the energy and utility industries.
  • C# and .NET required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60/hr to $75/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
