Baltimore Public Media is the public radio service for Baltimore, Central Maryland and the Eastern Shore. We are WYPR (the NPR News service for our region) and WTMD (the AAA music service for our region). We are also engaged in an exciting three-year joint operating agreement with the Banner, Baltimore’s new non-profit online news organization.
Baltimore Public Media is seeking a welcoming and professional Front Desk Ambassador (Temporary) to be the first point of contact for our staff, guests, and community partners. This role is expected to last two months and will have a minimum of 25 hours per week (from 10am to 3pm) with opportunities for more hours. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization that connects, enriches, and elevates the residents and communities of Baltimore and the region through independent journalism, music, arts, and cultural programming.
As the face of our organization, the Front Desk Ambassador plays a vital role in creating a positive and professional atmosphere at our headquarters. The ideal candidate is a warm and organized communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys supporting others, and brings a commitment to excellent customer service. If you enjoy working in a collaborative, community-focused environment and take pride in representing an organization with integrity and purpose, we’d love to meet you.
