Job Summary

A Business Development Manager - Apple, primarily focuses on developing overall growth of our Apple business within the Netherlands and the wider EU/EFTA territory. This position will drive success for our sales teams, our partners, and our customers as well as establish target initiatives and develop new opportunities to grow our business. The Business Development Manager will develop solid business relationships with the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account. The Business Development Manager will provide sales support including creating strategic programs, spiffs, campaigns, creating and delivering trainings, account mapping and monitoring opportunities and deals. The Business Development Manager is also the face of the brand in their segment, representing his/her Partner(s) to company leadership, customers, and while attending industry events. This individual will report into the Apple Manager.

This role is based specifically in the Netherlands and even with the remote status would require the successful applicant to reside within Netherlands.

Role Description

Including, but not limited to:

  • Assist Sales Reps with product support, program information, configurations, and competitive advantages for pending opportunities
  • Develop overall business growth for Apple in the Netherlands and the wider EU/EFTA territory
  • Create strategic programs, spiffs, campaigns
  • Create and deliver trainings, account mapping sessions and presentations to customer and teams
  • Monitor opportunities and deals
  • Be the face of the brand in your segment, representing Apple to company leadership, customers, and while attending industry events
  • Work to build awareness of Apple's programs within the company’s sales organisation
  • Manage and report on a sales pipeline
  • Educate the sales force on the tools, products, and programs available from Apple
  • Work closely with Apple to align on sales goals and initiatives
  • Lead customer calls/presentations/onsite meetings with Account Executives and Inside Sales Account Managers to help build new business
  • Proactively work to develop and foster relationships between Apple and Sellers
  • Analyse raw data and draw out key trends and observations supported by relevant data points
  • Obtain necessary sales certifications
  • Coordinate sales training
  • Create & maintain Sales-rep and customer-facing training decks and presentations

Skill Level Requirements

  • Expertise in client relationship building and new business development - Intermediate
  • Ability to cold call and create new business opportunities - Intermediate
  • Ability to identify, create, develop, and manage high-impact sales opportunities and lead a team to achieve and exceed sales targets - Intermediate
  • The capability to identify potential clients, effectively negotiate terms, and successfully finalize business transactions. - Intermediate
  • The understanding of key business principles and practices to make informed and effective decisions that contribute to organizational success. - Intermediate
  • The ability to efficiently manage tasks and projects by prioritizing responsibilities and effectively utilizing time to achieve objectives. - Intermediate

Other Requirements

  • Position required 10% of travel to attend trainings, conferences, partner events, etc.
  • Extended hours are required to complete some projects
  • Any certifications with Apple or Jamf would be advantageous
