The Sr. Manager, Office of the CIO is a strategic leadership role responsible for supporting the CIO in executing key priorities, key initiatives, and fostering culture and engagement within the IT organization. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, driving strategic initiatives, and enhancing cross-team collaboration. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will play a critical role in leadership engagement, cultural development, and planning the IT-wide meetings to enhance communication, transparency, and morale across the Lucid IT organization.

You Will:

Strategic & Operational Support:

  • Act as a key advisor and thought partner to the CIO, helping to set and execute IT priorities.
  • Support IT leadership team meetings, including agenda setting, note-taking, and execution tracking.
  • Support the improvement of communication within IT, and from IT to the rest of the Lucid organization.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the execution of IT strategic priorities.

Special Projects:

  • Lead or contribute to special projects that drive IT transformation, innovation, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop executive reports, presentations, and insights for senior Lucid leadership and board-level discussions.

Leadership Engagement & Culture Development:

  • Spearhead initiatives that foster a high-performance culture within the IT organization, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute programs to enhance leadership engagement, ensuring IT leaders are connected, aligned, and empowered.
  • Act as a liaison between the various levels IT leadership and the CIO to surface challenges, feedback, and opportunities for improvement.

Quarterly IT All-Hands Planning & Execution:

  • Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of IT All-Hands meetings on a quarterly basis.
  • Develop meeting agendas, working closely with the CIO and IT leadership to align key messages and priorities.
  • Facilitate interactive segments, Q&A sessions, and recognition initiatives to enhance participation and morale.
  • Measure the effectiveness of All-Hands meetings through surveys and feedback mechanisms, continuously improving the experience.

You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT strategy, consulting, operations, or a Chief of Staff role within a technology organization.
  • Strong understanding of IT functions, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive change, align leadership teams, and foster a positive organizational culture.
  • Experience in planning and executing large-scale meetings and engagement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, or other IT best practices.
  • Background in executive communications and organizational change management.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$173,700—$254,760 USD
