Product Compliance & EHS Product Line Manager - Your future role?

As a Product Compliance & EHS Product line Manager, you will be accountable for the strategy definition and the end-to-end delivery (i.e., from brainstorming to sun-setting/decommissioning) of the Product Compliance and EHS product line. This includes digital products and capabilities meeting market expectations for the 3 Departments: RAPS Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) Regulatory, Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) Regulatory, and Corporate EHS.

You will partner with the Heads of the relevant Departments to synthesize all the provided information and to design a relevant product offering, consistent with market and technology trends, Givaudan's strategy, and Givaudan Digital's strategy.

This mission involves leading a multicultural Product team to follow a product from its design to its production launch, monitoring and support.

The Solution portfolio includes SAP components (SAP EHS, SAP EHSM, Compliance Engine FR, Compliance Engine FL), and third-party solutions (ServiceNow, Sphera, Agilent etc).

You will report to the Head of Business Development, Digital Solutions.

Preferred location: Argenteuil, Zurich, but other locations will be considered.

Your main responsibilities:

Product Line Strategy:

  • Develop a partnership with the Business Heads of F&B RAPS, T&W Regulatory, and Corporate EHS
  • Lead and communicate the definition of the product line strategy with IT and the above-mentioned partners
  • Transform business and technology trends into a product line vision that delivers tangible added value
  • Collaborate with other Product Line Managers and Enterprise Architects to develop the IT landscape

Resource Management:

  • Oversee resources within the product line, including people, budget, and vendors
  • Foster an Agile product management culture that delivers value

Product Development:

  • Promote the Product Compliance and EHS IT Team, who is responsible:
  • to enhance offering through innovation, experimentatio,n and proof of concept and
  • evolution and maintenance of existing core solutions to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from brainstorming to support
  • Ensure execution aligns with the digital strategy for the division and company
  • Is accountable for Product Line solutions and ensures cross-Products integration and collaboration across the whole IT organisation

Performance Measurement:

  • Oversee product deliveries within the line
  • Define metrics, measure, and communicate outcomes and performance of the product line

People Management:

  • Manage product line team members, supporting their professional development
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain talent
  • Adapt the product line organization to deliver value

You have:

  • Master’s degree in computer engineering or business school or equivalent
  • 10+ years working in the Information Technology area or related business domain.
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with Business Heads/Sponsors, working at a strategic level
  • 5+ years of experience managing team dynamics, building team relationships, mentoring team members, and delivering feedback
  • Experience in Product Management / DevOps / agile development methodology.
  • Product engineering and management
  • Exposure and understanding of existing and new technologies, and processing environments
  • Experience with innovation approaches and methodologies (Continuous Discovery, Design Thinking, Design Sprints, and UX design)
  • Partner & product portfolio management skills
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Fluent in English.
