Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Technology Support Engineer with a strong background in operations and networking. The position requires an operations/networking background combined with creative and independent thinking. In this role, you will analyze and resolve complex circuit and routing issues, contribute to network design and maintenance, and ensure robust IP transport performance. You’ll leverage automation and scripting—using tools like Perl, Python, and Expect—in a fast-paced, large-scale LAN/WAN environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced/complex network and routing problems
• Design, maintain, troubleshoot and provision IP networks with a focus on security and emerging technologies, concentrating on facilities ranging from Fast Ethernet to 400Gig and Cisco carrier-class routers and switches (CRS, AGR, 76xx), Juniper M, and MX series routers and many other technologies
• Automate network operations through scripting and programming
• Support and deploy large-scale changes across carrier-class routers and switches

Qualifications:

• Candidates applying for this position will need to possess a broad technical knowledge and understanding of OSPF/BGP, VLAN design, MPLS, and LAN/WAN networks
• Experience with Cisco (CRS, AGR, 76xx) and Juniper (M, MX series) routers
• Proficiency in UNIX administration and scripting (Perl, Python, or Expect are a plus)
• CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent knowledge required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 team environment

Working hours: 3 shift pattern (24/5) + weekend coverage

Location: Brno, hybrid/flex model

Compensation: Salary starting from 66,000 CZKgross monthly. The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge and experience.
