Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Systems Sales Engineer (SE) who will act as a trusted advisor to our customer’s beginning as a presales activity while aiding the customer’s transformational journey through the adoption of our solutions portfolio. Your primary responsibility is to partner with the sales team and provide technical knowledge around Nutanix solutions to our customers and prospects. You’ll provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and guide prospects through technical evaluations (POCs) which are critical to the deal's success. Additionally, you will work with various teams to resolve customer concerns, escalate product issues, and serve as an ambassador for our brand.
About the Team
At Nutanix, you will be a part of the Systems Sales Engineering team, which is a dynamic and customer-centric group of over 800 technical sales professionals situated across various locations. Our Ohio Valley team not only identifies tech solutions that align with customer needs but also offers consultative expertise to our sales, partners, and clients. The team culture encourages collaboration, innovation, and excellence, making it a supportive and empowering environment to work in.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, who provides mentorship and guidance to help you thrive in your role. At Nutanix, we offer a flexible work setup, and this position is remote with no fixed requirement to be in the office. However, candidates must be located within 1-2 hours of their assigned territory to ensure proximity for customer and partner engagements.
Regarding travel expectations, this role involves up to 25% travel time, mainly within your assigned territory and for events-related opportunities. This travel component offers a chance to engage directly with customers and partners, further enhancing your skills and relationships within the industry.
Your Role
What You Will Bring
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,000 and USD $ 248,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
