Seaway7 is looking to recruit a Vessel and Equipment Development Engineer – Digitalization to assist in our ongoing efforts to improve predictability and performance. Reporting to the Vessel and Equipment Development Director, you will be working out of our Zoetermeer (NL) office.

Seaway7 is focusing on digitalization to enhance efficiency in its offshore wind farm installation services. This includes implementing digital tools like fuel flowmeters and dashboards across the fleet, as well as developing and utilizing a data-driven Offshore Decision Support Tool. The goal is to improve vessel operational efficiency, particularly with weather-based considerations.

What will you be doing?

• Develop dashboards to monitor project offshore performance
• Coordinate the data gathering from Seaway7 vessels alongside the offshore crew and the IT team at the Aberdeen office
• Setup systems for performance monitoring
• Perform data analysis on vessel data
• Further develop and maintain vessel dashboards

What experience would we like you to have?

• Between 2 to 6 years of experience with stakeholder management and data acquisition/visualization

• Experience with Power BI – familiar with creating dashboards and visualizing data to support decision-making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – especially Excel, for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data clearly.
• Proficiency in Python – able to use Python for data analysis, automation, or problem-solving tasks.
