UNH College of Professional Studies is seeking a dynamic and qualified educator to teach in our dual enrollment program with the NH Virtual Learning Academy Charter School. This adjunct faculty will deliver high-quality college-level instruction to high school students enrolled in the UNH CPS early college program, preparing them for postsecondary success while earning both high school and college credit.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction aligned with both high school and college-level standards.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and academic growth.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations in accordance with university policies.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with both high school and college policies.
  • Participate in periodic departmental meetings and professional development opportunities; provide feedback to improve course offerings and student outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree appropriate for the discipline of the UNH dual enrollment course
  • Valid NH teacher licensure in the relevant subject area.
  • Experience teaching high school students in an online asynchronous course deliver model.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in a concurrent credit/early college program.
  • Experience teaching online asynchronous college-level courses.
