Job Title: Packager/Forklift Operator
Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday 7:30am-4pm
Pay: Competitive pay, based on experience
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overview:
Express Employment Professionals – Mesa is now hiring a Packager to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting and packaging associated parts to ensure quality and compliance with shipping standards. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect unboxed components and package them using foam or paper, following specific packaging guidelines
- Apply accurate labels or tags to each product per customer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Log packaging activity daily and inspect each product using a detailed checklist
- Identify and report any non-conforming parts to the supervisor or team lead
- Ensure the quality and integrity of packaging materials and finished boxes
- Place completed products on pallets in the proper configuration
- Follow packaging manual instructions precisely
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- No previous packaging or manufacturing experience required – training provided
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Forklift certification a plus (not required)
