Who You Are
The Business Management Department is made up of creative-minded brand leaders. The Mekanism Business Manager is a self-assured, collaborative, creative-oriented, problem-solver. We are on the front lines of managing and sustaining current agency relationships and projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creative Development
- Able to own and manage particular elements of a campaign (digital, print/OOH and video etc) from start to finish, partnering daily with creatives and ensuring work aligns with Client’s business objectives and timelines.
- Partner with Project Management and Business Supervisors & Directors to develop and maintain all project timelines
- Able to own and run effective internal meetings from beginning to end.
Social Savvy
- Able to manage social projects with confidence and understanding of the platforms and social best practices
- Has a track record of working socially led projects, and understands the fast-paced nature of the work
Production Oversight
- Partner with the entire internal team (including creative, production, project management, and brand management)to drive small-medium sized productions.
- Includes owning key client approvals, budget and schedule mgmt.
Support Financial Organization & Budgets
- Manage and collate financial reports in partnership with Finance for key clients.
- Management and tracking of Client budgets and scope.
- Request and manage all job numbers for respective accounts.
- The Business Manager is expected to own the detail of all things.
Account Administration
- Organize meetings and calls internally and externally, to include agenda beforehand and recap within 24 business hours.
- Manage client and internal status reports.
- Arrange travel for agency meetings.
- Help lead competitive analysis decks and keep the team updated with relevant category information.
- Provide administrative support for the team as needed.
- Learn to use all creative, presentation, and other programs currently in use by Mekanism

Qualifications:

- You have a 10,000 foot view but can lean in to help solve day to day problems
- You have experience working on large brands & integrated campaigns across various media channels

Regarding compensation, the range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as a full-time employee of Mekanism in the United States. Salaries will vary on the basis of various factors, including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
Salary: $67,000 - $70,000
