We're seeking a talented Electrode Process Engineer to join our team in Nonsan, Korea.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise and at least 2 years of industrial experience in manufacturing battery electrode production, including mixing, coating, calendering, slitting, and handling organic solvents.
  • Understand Enovix's unique electrode requirements and translate them into specific coating specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Routejade team to plan, execute, track, and report on Enovix's electrode production schedule.
  • Work closely with international teams from the USA, Korea, and Malaysia to align processes, share best practices, and ensure seamless collaboration across production sites.
  • Develop and manage risk assessments to prioritize process improvement projects.
  • Conduct failure analysis on electrode coatings to drive continuous performance improvements.
  • Optimize coating processes to improve properties, output, yield, quality, waste reduction, and cost.
  • Support the quality and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality electrodes (SOPs, specifications, IQA, OQC).

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics with 2+ years of related work experience and strong process knowledge.
  • Experience with roll-to-roll battery manufacturing processes, including mixing, calendering, coating, and slitting equipment.
  • Good English communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and internal/external partners.
  • Experience working in global teams across diverse cultures is highly desirable.
  • Passion for problem-solving, troubleshooting, and continuous learning.
  • Hands-on, independent, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges.
