Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a part-time Inventory Clerk!

We are looking for a hands-on Inventory Clerk to manage records related to ordering, receiving, storing, and shipping materials. Responsibilities include attending daily warehouse meetings, managing backorders, running reports, initiating transfers, and coordinating cycle counts. Pay: $23 / hour.

Schedule: Standard is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 8AM-4PM. Some flexibility or overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily in-person warehouse meetings
• Communicate with various stakeholders through email, phone calls, and text messages
• Backorder ownership, which includes sending email notifications to CSR/Admin about upcoming backorders
• Run the backorder report daily
• Initiate transfers to cover backorders
• Coordinate the planning and implementation of monthly/quarterly cycle count requirements

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• At least 1 year previous inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience
• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus)
• Must pass drug screening (does not inlcude THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
