Mechanical Assembler

Currently hiring Mechanical Assemblers in the Gilletts, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 1st shift.

• Must be open to working 10-15hrs of overtime each week.

Description:

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Assemble boards using hand and power tools.
• Work closely with the electrical assembler.
• Assemble side walls and the roof.
• Assist the electrical assembler with wire pulling.
• Operate around an overhead crane, with training provided if needed.
• 3-5 years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine building and assembly.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical schematics.
• Experience with electrical assembly and troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
