Are you interested in leveraging your product management skills to join a dynamic team responsible for improving public perception of selling in Amazon’s store? We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, high-judgment, results-oriented, and inventive Sr. Product Manager for a role that will own strategy and execution of initiatives that ensure public perception mirrors the reality that Amazon’s store a great place for our Selling Partners to build and maintain thriving businesses. This involves working closely within an organization to own a suite of internal tools and tech that enable capabilities and create measurable efficiencies in how our teams work together, with sellers in Amazon’s store, and critical partners including Public Policy, Public Relations, Creative, and more.

The ideal candidate has a passion for supporting small business owners, and a product development background combined with a solid understanding of current technologies. They are adept at synthesizing technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers will love and serve small businesses well. They are customer obsessed, leveraging insights and data to work backwards and think from a customer perspective. They have excellent technical design, problem solving and communication skills and are comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Strong business judgment, ability to earn trust with stakeholders, influence cross-functional teams, a creative mindset, and strong analytical skills are essential. This opportunity requires excellent product management and prioritization skills, as well as the experience to successfully navigate ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the data-driven product vision across the suite of SER product and technology
  • Define and manage the roadmaps for SER product and tech solutions, work with stakeholders to establish KPIs, identify gaps, and govern compliance.
  • Partner with other teams across SER to identify and influence development of new products and services.
  • Partner with other teams across SER to establish and monitor best practices for interacting with and managing sensitive user data.
  • Work with end users and development teams to scope technical requirements and resource needs.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and resource constraints.

Onboard third-party platforms and technologies.

  • Develop the long-term strategy for the SER product and tech portfolio, aligned it to the goals of the organization and translated into an achievable roadmap.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balancc business needs versus technical or operational constraints.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
