Amazon Global Engineering Services (GES) is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager (PM). This individual will manage the non-inventory transfer processes at our external depot(s) and between Amazon projects to support our Startup team in launching new sites and expansion projects across North America (NA).

  • As a Program Manager, you will manage and support multiple initiatives and/or projects simultaneously while working quickly to deliver results.
  • You must be a highly-effective communicator, capable of leading meetings, managing vendors, owning recaps, and tracking KPIs to report on.
  • You will conduct data analysis to identify issues and implement significant process improvement projects within the team and larger business functions.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Depot inventory ownership and quality control of inventory available for reuse
  • Drive operational excellence in depot management and inventory projects and successfully measure outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and create efficiencies through initiative projects
  • Provide scalable solutions for specific depot and inventory issues
  • Respond to a large volume of inquiries from execution and business teams
  • Manage quoting and purchase order issuance for all transfers
  • Present project status and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Develop, build, and maintain positive relationships with internal program teams
  • Work with technology teams to scope out and drive any tech changes that are needed
  • Own KPI tracking to deliver the right material on time in full quantity and meet team goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
