You will design, build, and integrate scalable ad systems that delight end-users, publishers, and advertisers alike. You will join a mission to push the boundaries of technology to innovate the best-in-class customer experiences, by using state-of-art and GenAI technologies and leading edge tools and frameworks via rapid iterations.

Key job responsibilities

You are a contributor in shaping Amazon Ads and Alexa’s future, responsible for:

• Defining innovative solutions that captivate Alexa+ users and propel Amazon Ads forward.
• Crafting prototypes that bring your ideas to life, proving their worth in real-world scenarios.
• Extracting wisdom from vast oceans of data and experiments, turning raw insights into actionable strategies.
• Building reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions that stand the test of time and hyper scale seamlessly with our business.
• Striving for Operational Excellence, ensuring our systems run smoothly in production, powering the 3rd Amazon's growth engine.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
