As a Hands-On QA Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:
o Managing a small team of Quality Engineers
o Working with a QA Manager to mentor and support the QEs reporting to you.
o Assuring management that new and refactored features are free of defects
o Taking ownership of the defect correction workflow within the Application Development team
o Communicating with project stakeholders and keeping them in the loop on testing.
o Being a strong advocate for Testing Best Practices and Quality throughout the company
o Actively conducting ongoing testing of minor feature releases using both Manual and Automation methods.
o Suggesting improvements and documenting defects for our enterprise e-commerce system
o Conducting Automation Code Reviews.
o Assist in the interviewing and hiring or resources.
o Being able to gauge the performance of your team's ability to uphold Coding Best Practices.
o Organizing Beta and A/B tests
o Assisting in organizing daily efforts
o Most Importantly… Leading by example with a Sense of Urgency in the things you do.
Must Have experience includes:
o Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a QA Role Testing web and mobile apps with a steady progressive growth in your career.
o Minimum +6 years experience in OOP in C#
o Leading and Mentoring a QA team for 2 or more years
o Key involvement in the Hiring and Performance Evaluation of staff on your team.
o Key involvement in QA department process improvement planning and efforts.
o Working with All levels of a project team to form consensus and cooperation.
o Mentoring Jr staff on Enterprise QA Policy
o Being a part of Peer and Jr. Staff evaluations
o Writing and Reviewing test plans
o Conducting or organizing User Acceptance tests
o Conducting or organizing Beta tests
o Using documentation systems
Bonus points if you have experience:
o Direct Hiring and managing a QA team
o Identifying process and policy improvement

QA Supervisors are a Hands On Role requiring extensive experience in Application and API Testing via Both Manual and Automation testing. Supervisors will manage a small team as well as participate in active testing.
