Are you passionate about psychological research and eager to gain experience in a lab environment? The Research and Interventions for Stress-related Conditions (RISC) Lab at Texas A&M University is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented research assistant to join our team.
In this multifaceted role, you’ll play an integral part in our research operations—scheduling participant visits, training undergraduate research assistants, and collecting and processing both electroencephalography (EEG) and peripheral psychophysiological data. You’ll also play a key role in managing ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data, from collection to cleaning and processing. Beyond data, you’ll collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator on IRB submissions, data management, and the day-to-day coordination of lab activities.This position offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive training in EEG and EMA methodologies, with potential for additional training in clinical interviewing. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to federal grant submissions, making this an ideal position for someone looking to build a strong foundation in research.
