Position Summary

Responsible for all aspects of the Press Shop processes including die changes, press setup parameters, press die production settings, operation, and maintenance of all presses and related equipment.

Role and Responsibilities

Third Shift

• Crane / Forktruck certified
• Ability to set-up, adjust parameters, and troubleshoot coil feeder (PG & PH)
• Ability to set-up, adjust grippers, and troubleshoot de-stacker (PE & PF)
• Ability to manually operate robot and recover from fault condition (PC,PD & PF)
• Working knowledge of high rack - retrieve & return dies to correct location
• Ability to set up and adjust oil and air sprayers to reduce scrap
• Understands Sigma Alpha - can analyze and enter detailed information

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience:

Press Process Techincian Level 1 = 1 year as a Machine Operator

Press Process Techincian Level 2 = 1 year as a Press Process Techincian Level 1

Press Process Techincian Level 3 = 1 year as a Press Process Techincian Level 2

Press Process Techincian Level 4 = 1 year as a Press Process Techincian Level 3

Press Process Techincian Level 5 = 1 year as a Press Process Techincian Level 4

• Knowledge: Metal stamping, quality control, machines and tools, maintenance, operation monitoring
• Skills: Problem solving skills and communication skills. Prevantive Maintenance, Trouble shooting
• Physical requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly walk and stand.
