The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of previous work experience in a maintenance or mechanical position.

Job Summary

Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and ensure assigned machines operate efficiently and safely. Relevant advanced mechanical experience preferably with web fed cutting machines and other production equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Maintenance and Repair:

Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to prevent breakdowns.

• Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to restore equipment to working order.

• Preventative Maintenance:

Adhere to preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime/extend lifespan of equipment.

• Safety:

Ensure equipment is operated safely and adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

• Collaboration:

Work with team members to achieve plant/department goals.

Other (Non-Essential) Functions

Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.

Job Requirements

• Two (2) years of Maintenance trade school or related field is required.
• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
• Flexibility required with machine assignment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Able to read, write and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
• Able to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and similar diagrams.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Regular standing, walking, reaching,
• Frequent climbing including ladders or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.)
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
