The Operations and Project Support Manager, in an executive support role, will play a key role in enhancing the overall online student experience. This position requires a high level of organization, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will assist the Online Student Lifecycle pillar along with online continuing education in facilitating processes, resolving issues and promoting effective collaboration. This role focuses on operational and logistical support to streamline shared services and improve the overall student experience by acting as a key facilitator, ensuring that decisions made at the executive level translate into tangible actions to benefit the student lifecycle and overall operations. This position will report to the Executive Director of Online Student Experience and will support LSU Online and CE.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with pillar leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing the student experience. Act as a liaison between the online and student lifecycle operations, recruitment and retention operations and the various areas within online (IT, Directors, Program Coordinators and Managers) at A&M and it's family of institution campuses to assist in managing, developing and implementing strategies/projects/initiatives that directly impact the quality of services provided to students. Work closely with leadership to identify and address operational and logistical challenges that may impact the overall student experience. Provide support to expedite issues affecting student access to available courses, support services or elimination of any element that is detrimental to the overall student experience and retention. 50%
Attend meetings with University Executives and other key stakeholders to represent the interests of the Online Student Lifecycle and Recruitment and Retention Operations. Act as a facilitator to move discussions forward and ensure follow-through on important decisions. Organizes administrative tasks and assigns as needed. Organizes the scheduling and preparation of materials for meetings and maintains documentation and records of executive-level discussions. 25%
Administers the creation and maintenance of service-level agreements, contracts, standardized templates for various student service initiatives, and other critical documents related to the online student experience. Ensure that all documentation aligns with University policy and standards. Assist in planning and coordinating events related to student services, including workshops, training, orientations and special programs as needed. 20%

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Business or related field with 3 years of experience.
Specific Experience:
3 years working in student services or a related field with experience providing executive-level documentation as well as
writing service level agreements/contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree with 7 years of experience
Specific Experience:
Experience in Higher Education in a collegiate support role and/or in combination with a managerial role with a deep
commitment to improving the student experience and supporting others in student service-oriented roles.

Operation Essential Personnel - This position may be asked to work during an official closure, but who is otherwise not required to report to the physical campus during a closure and whose absence does not present a risk to the safety, resources, and well-being of the campus per FASOP HR-01.
