Job Summary:

The Account Management Partnership (AMP) Support Coordinator plays a key role in assisting the sales & account management team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring seamless communication with internal parties, and providing essential support to achieve sales goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pursuant to Maryland regulation, the compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Prepare sales documents such as quotes, proposals, contracts, and presentations
  • Case (Sale) Processing: Assist in managing group insurance case submissions, tracking underwriting and installation progress, and ensuring timely delivery
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system
  • Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, renewals, account installation, finance) to ensure smooth execution of sales & account management activities
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze sales performance reports for management and the sales team
  • Follow-up: Assist in follow-up communication with internal departments to ensure delivery and strengthen relationships
  • All other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle client concerns professionally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in Insurance, Finance, Mortgage Underwriting, or Commercial Banking support role
  • Experience in industry-specific software or tools (e.g., Monday.com, Benefix, Ease, Employee Navigator)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with sales processes and terminology

Judgment and Decision-Making Authority

  • Prioritize work based on established procedures and deadlines, directed by Management.

Supervision Required

  • Daily coordination with Management.

Machines, Tools & Equipment Operated

  • Proficient PC user with strong computer skills, fax machine/scanner, telephone, copier, and calculator.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there is little or no exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, fumes, dust, and the like.

Hours of Work

Standard 40-hour workweek and as needed to meet departmental objectives. After the training period has been met, this position is eligible for a hybrid work scenario, with the ability to work from home up to two (2) days a week.
