Job Posting Title: Key Account Manager, Global Sales

The Global OKAM is a strategic role responsible for managing key client relationships on a global scale. This position focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and coordinating logistics solutions across different regions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key global clients, fostering strong and long-term relationships.
  • Understand client needs and develop tailored logistics solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key clients to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams across different regions to ensure seamless service delivery to global clients.
  • Liaise with operations, sales, and customer service teams to address client needs effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, revenue trends, and service metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead contract negotiations with global clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with global client relationships and business operations.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, revenue forecasts, and client feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management or business development roles within the transportation and logistics industry, with a focus on global accounts.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing key client relationships and driving revenue growth.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in account management or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, SCPro).
  • Experience with global logistics operations and trade compliance.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.

Language skills

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

Computer Literacy

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $71,000 - 106,500/ Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
