.NET Developer

Roles/Responsibilities:

As a .NET Developer on the PI Delivery Development team, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining custom developed applications built using .NET Framework and .NET Core. Additionally, you will develop applications using the AVEVA PI AFSDK. You will collaborate with the PI Support team and other teams to develop applications that meet specific user guidelines and needs. You will participate in regular code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support. You will help maintain an extensive code base of C#, PowerShell, and Visual Basic applications.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science\Computer Information Systems or 7 years of applicable development experience.

3-4 years of AVEVA PI experience with experience in development with AFSDK

3-4 years of experience developing .NET Core or Framework Applications in C#.

3-4 years of experience developing API services.

3-4 years of experience with writing PowerShell and command line scripts.

3-4 years of experience with SQL, preferably MSSQL (TSQL).

3-4 years of experience with Git and git-flow methodologies for version/source control.

3-4 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.

3-4 years of experience with password management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Agile and JIRA.

Experience with Entity Framework.

Experience with AVEVA PI and AVEVA PI AFSDK.

Experience with AVEVA PI Asset Framework.

Experience with AVEVA PI Vision.

Experience with artifactories such as Nexus, ProGet, or JFrog.

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).

Experience in Asset Management operations.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

Job Location: 340 E 16th St, Charlotte, NC 28206 - Remote is allowed

The annual salary for this position is between $65 - 110k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
