Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role can be based in our Chicago office.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Manager of Scaled Operations Risk Management to oversee and strengthen compliance efforts across a diverse portfolio of BPO vendor programs. This role will focus on ensuring adherence to data security protocols and operational standards across multiple functions, including Sales, Customer Support, Customer Success, Order Management, Data Integrity, Analytics, and Media Operations.

The Scales Operations Program Manager will serve as a critical bridge between our internal stakeholders and external vendor partners, ensuring that our data handling practices remain secure, auditable, and consistent with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements.

With significant operational volume handled by BPO partners, this role plays a vital part in protecting customer data, ensuring operational integrity, and maintaining trust with our users and stakeholders. You will be the engine behind scalable, sustainable compliance that adapts to an evolving risk landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with data security and operational protocols across all BPO-supported programs.
  • Assess and identify gaps in current practices related to data protection, access controls, user behavior, system vulnerabilities, and process adherence.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to close security or process gaps in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
  • Design and execute enhanced compliance monitoring mechanisms, including routine audits, targeted reviews, and real-time alerts where applicable.
  • Create and evolve a comprehensive risk management framework tailored to the unique needs of BPO programs, including risk identification, categorization, mitigation planning, and tracking.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to streamline and strengthen compliance oversight and reporting.
  • Drive accountability by clearly communicating recommendations, tracking remediation efforts, and escalating non-compliance as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with InfoSec, Legal, IT, Vendor Management, and Program Leadership teams to align on compliance priorities and roadmaps.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting dashboards for compliance performance, incidents, trends, and improvements over time.
  • Lead training sessions or onboarding modules for vendor teams and internal stakeholders to reinforce compliance expectations and promote a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or program management in a BPO, tech, or operations-heavy environment.
  • Experience with and understanding of data privacy and security principles (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001).
  • Experience driving remediation plans and closing compliance gaps across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with compliance monitoring tools, audit management software, or workflow automation platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
  • Experience managing compliance for global BPO partners.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, Tableau, or similar platforms used in sales and support environments.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous, or rapidly evolving environments.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $91,000 to $148,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
