Job Summary:

Slalom is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to deliver exceptional work for our client in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and monitoring several mock and live conversions of .NET, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, and vendor applications from a hybrid cloud environment into an Azure environment. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist the project manager and test lead as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and monitor mock and live conversions of .NET, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, and vendor applications from this hybrid cloud environment into the Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist the project manager and test lead as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, particularly Azure.
  • Experience with .NET, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, and vendor applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with financial services systems.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Sr Associate level the hourly rate is between $80-90/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
