Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a Reporter on a permanent basis to join our brand WatersTechnology.
WatersTechnology writes investigative and deep-dive, analytical pieces about the technology and data used by investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, hedge funds, and exchanges. We are seeking an early-stage reporter to join its team. The successful applicant will break news and write longform features for our website, waterstechnology.com.
Our content is read by chief executive officers, chief technology officers, chief innovation officers, heads of data and analytics at the biggest financial and technology organizations in the world.
We are looking for an enthusiastic reporter to join our team. Our beat is what happens at the intersection of financial markets and technology, from trading tools to big data to debates around emerging technology like artificial intelligence.
Most importantly, we value quality over quantity, and we give reporters time to work on high-impact stories. It’s a position with a high learning curve attached, but you will have on-the-job training and the opportunity to hone your news reporting and investigative skills. We also have a popular podcast that you would be welcome to contribute to. We also have newsrooms in New York, London, and Hong Kong, and regularly send our reporters to cover major industry events.
Some of our reporters and editors have been with us for decades, but we also consider ourselves a feeder publication to more mainstream titles. Our “alumni” have gone on to jobs at our prestigious sister publication Risk.net, as well as to well-known brands like the Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, the Guardian, and the Financial Times.
