CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer EAI opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 9 months

Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and support enterprise application integrations (EAI) using modern integration tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to enable system interoperability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integration solutions for performance and reliability.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and processes for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and monitoring.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Proficiency in OpenShift container platform and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Expertise in API development, testing, and troubleshooting using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
  • Proficient in SQL and Oracle databases; able to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation using JSON, Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, and Firewalls.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Competent in using ticketing and collaboration systems, including Jira.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in application development and integration.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying APIs and web services.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex systems and integrations in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and OpenShift
  • Experience with API development, testing, and troubleshooting using tools like Postman or SOAP UI
  • Proficiency in SQL/Oracle database and scripting & automation (JSON, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls) and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and utility client handling is a plus
  • ITIL knowledge and experience using ticketing systems (Jira)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
