Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
As the Supply Chain Risk Council Manager and Vendor Assessment Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead the development and execution of supply chain risk management strategies across the organization. You will chair the Supply Chain Risk Council, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the supply chain. In this role, you will serve as the primary SME for vendor assessments, overseeing the evaluation of third-party vendors, developing risk mitigation plans, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. You will also provide guidance on best practices, deliver risk assessment reports to senior leadership, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience.
Role Description
In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across multiple functional areas, including program management, change management, and the identification and implementation of best practices and lessons learned. You will contribute to performance management and reporting activities, ensuring that key metrics are tracked and communicated effectively. Additionally, you will support data analysis and analytics initiatives to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. The position also requires flexibility to take on other tasks as directed, adapting to evolving project needs and organizational priorities.

We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
