Job Description
Kamehameha Schools (KS) Maui is more than just a school—it's a thriving, close-knit community that values excellence, tradition, and sustainability. Located on 180 acres in beautiful upcountry Maui (Pukalani), our campus is home to 1,100 students and 250 faculty and staff, all driven by the value of kuʻupau—giving your all in everything you do.
We are looking for a Part-Time Cook to join our Food Services team and help craft restaurant-quality, farm-to-table meals that nourish and inspire our haumāna (students) every day. This isn’t your typical school cafeteria job—this is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing culinary team that takes pride in fresh, from-scratch cooking using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Why Join Us?
???? Farm-to-Table Excellence: Fresh, never frozen, locally sourced ingredients that highlight sustainable food practices.
???????? Lead & Grow: A hands-on cooking role with opportunities to lead and grow within a supportive, team-focused environment.
???? Team ʻOhana: Daily huddles, birthday shoutouts, and a culture of appreciation that makes you feel valued.
⏰ Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a steady 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM schedule—with occasional opportunities to support special campus events outside of regular hours.
This is a long-term career opportunity to be part of something bigger than just cooking—it's about nourishing future generations with quality food and Hawaiian values. If you're passionate about great food, teamwork, and sustainability, we'd love to have you on our team!
Apply today and bring your kuʻupau to KS Maui!
