The position will be part of a team developing an enterprise ready integrated suite of mobile applications for conducting collaborative translational research. This developer will bring strong native mobile application, cross platform, and data visualization skills as well as leadership for planning, developing, and delivering full stack systems. The individual will have exposure to healthcare standards, external regulatory compliance and biomedical research, and the ability to take a lead role in the architecture, creating and supporting the suite of applications. HIPPA security and privacy regulations must be applied to existing and developed systems. Contributes to daily development activities of the web/software application development team to meet Digital Health Solutions service objectives. Deploys the code for applications that implement business logic, data access, and security requirements. Contributes project code that meets design requirements and best practice standards for security, accessibility, and maintainability as outlined by senior leadership. Maintains documentation and cross-training team members to ensure business continuity and achieve long-term strategic organizational objectives.

Job Description

Payscale Salary Range: Band 6

Minimum: $43,030.00

Mid Point: $61,323.00

Maximum: $79,616.00

Job Responsibilities:

1.1 Design and develop integrated enterprise applications and services that enable researchers to effectively and efficiently initiate, manage and execute clinical trials and associated tasks.

Design and develop integrated native digital health, mHealth and telehealth applications using Flutter, Dart, objective-c, swift and java within xCode and Android Studio. Ability to integrate with Bluetooth protocol with smartphone and tablet hardware. 35%

1.2 Ensure that your code is thoroughly tested and that the product has sufficient tests so that changes can be made with confidence and so that releases will not interrupt service to our customers. Lead the team to establish a culture of good testing practice and deployment. 15%

1.3 Assess the requirements of our stakeholders and the current capabilities of our applications. Recommend to leadership tactical actions. 15%

1.4 Ensure that sufficient written communication is supplied and that coding standards are followed. Provide sufficient product documentation. 15%

1.5 Work with team using the AGILE/SCRUM methodology and helps the development team to meet the schedule within a CI/CD SDLC architecture. 15%

1.6 Other duties as required. 5%

MUSC Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma and three years work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
