Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Python Developer with scripting experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and scalable Python-based applications and automation scripts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and support backend services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and automation scripts.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Automate data processing, system monitoring, and deployment tasks.
• Integrate with APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing scripts and applications.
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cron, Airflow, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Version control experience (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to data analysis or machine learning is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
