Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues, working closely with software engineers and program managers
- Investigate and resolve incidents related to application performance, integration, and data discrepancies while analyzing logs, monitor system health, and identify potential issues before they impact users
- Collaborate with developers to understand application usage, review technical designs, and recommend improvements and support incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem reviews for critical application failures
- Work with infrastructure teams to optimize system configurations, deployments, and performance tuning
- Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices in application support
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in application support, troubleshooting, or technical operations for large-scale enterprise applications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript frameworks, SQL Server, and scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with log analysis, debugging tools, and monitoring solutions such as AppInsights, Splunk, Grafana, and Kibana; Selenium, JMeter, or other testing tools for diagnosing performance issues
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus, or GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred), including application hosting and troubleshooting cloud-based services as well as knowledge of networking concepts, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML), and API integrations
