Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an IS+T Project Lead – Finance who will act as Business Analyst in collaboration with business department leads including Controlling, A/R, A/P, Tax, and Treasury to fully define requirements and create solutions. The lead will be responsible for working primarily on SAP FICO, but will also gain experience working with various interfaces and integrations within this domain.
The Lead will partner with the Central Organization to identify opportunities and to define the LVA roadmap with the IS&T Finance and Controlling Manager. They will ensure all LVA initiatives are in line with this strategy.
Repsonsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for ensuring a solid support model is planned & executed by the various support teams, including in the upstream systems
- Lead projects as needed in coordination with the LVA IS&T teams as well as with Central (Headquarters) teams.
Application Management
- Represent LVA in a worldwide community (Central and other zones); Ensure LVA initiatives are in alignment with global strategic direction
- Act as a key point of contact for business teams in relation to Finance and Payment Applications
- Conduct frequent touchpoints with department heads to ensure application management service level agreements are being met
Job responsibilities
- Partner with Local and central counterparts to define any new initiatives; act as a valuable business partner with relevant department heads and business key users to define project scope and requirements and propose for arbitration to the proper value committees.
- Responsible for the overall support their area. Ensure timely and accurate updates of LVA application scope landscape; Contributor to the application management planning by incorporating user experiences and best practices to propose future enhancements. Define and apply the security policy related to the applications in scope
- Owns monitoring and production support of ERP (SAP) and all interfaces/integration (Middleware/ETL/Job Schedules) related to the Finance and Controlling scope
- Proficient (or a least comfortable) with programming languages and development methodologies
Project Management
- Create and maintain the overall project plan for assigned business project requests;
- Work in conjunction with their Manager and key users to define project scope and requirements;
- Coordinate/follow-up on project tasks across business users, IS&T and Central IS&T in France;
- Participate in functional and integration testing;
- Provide management status reporting, including communication to the Executive Team and Central IS&T
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios with the business key users; organize and coordinate UAT to ensure all scenarios are conducted and results properly documented
- Co-manage resources within the rest of the IS&T organization
Profile
The ideal candidate must have experience in Finance, Controlling, & Payment business domains and the following below:
- Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 (1)
- FI/CO Core competence
- SD/MM integration points with finance
- Idoc/EDI interfaces processing, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Experience working with and analyzing SAP Batch Jobs/LSMW/Batch Input Sessions
- General integration/interface knowledge – no development needed
- Preferable knowledge of SAP FI/CO DB tables
- Preferable experience with SAP AFS solution
- Experience with S4
- Knowledge of high level finance processes
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounting
- Year-end- financial consolidation and reporting processes
- Knowledge of Retail Processes is a plus
- Payment Method application experience is a plus
- Experience in implementing SAP projects
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within USD $100,000 - 120,000 annually, comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discounts/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
