About the Role

The B2B Field Marketing Manager will drive impactful marketing programs aimed at engaging our Librarians and Researchers audience segment in Japan. This results-oriented role focuses on developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies to generate marketing-sourced deals, and ensuring customer engagement is at the core of all initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a creative, results-driven marketer who excels in driving integrated marketing campaigns. They will have a proven track record of collaborating with sales teams and global marketing counterparts to maximize impact. The Field Marketing Manager will regularly track and report on campaign results, particularly in terms of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and marketing-sourced revenue. Strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to foster customer relationships across both online and in-person engagements are critical for success in this role. This role will report into the APAC Field Marketing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing integrated marketing plans tailored to the unique needs of local markets in Japan.
  • Collaborating with central campaign teams to localize and amplify global campaigns for the Japanese market, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Driving marketing campaigns aimed at expanding the customer base, fostering new business, and increasing engagement with existing customers through targeted segmentation.
  • Providing regular demand generation reporting on campaign outcomes, with a specific focus on MQL generation and marketing-sourced deals.
  • Working closely with sales teams and global marketing counterparts to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with business objectives.
  • Leveraging digital marketing strategies and event management to support both online and in-person engagement efforts.
  • Regularly tracking campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies to meet goals related to MQLs, marketing-sourced revenue, and overall growth.

Requirements

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in field marketing, including campaign management, event management, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Have proven experience in digital field marketing with a high comfort level in utilizing digital and social channels.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization. A business level of English and Japanese is needed.
  • Ability to participate in global cross-functional teams and manage time zone differences for international meetings.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience driving projects and collaborating across teams including Product, Sales, Business Development, Global Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency or high level understanding in digital tools such as CMS, Adobe Photoshop, Pardot, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, etc.
