As an E-commerce Creator and Content Governance Program Manager, you will formulate, apply, and communicate our Ecommerce policies for creators on the platform and for their content. With your language, country and cultural perspectives, you must effectively localise policies to deal with country-specific trends in the Philippines, while being aligned with company principles. You should have strong research, risk discovery, and critical analysis acumen, using which we expect you to analyse metrics, surface emergent risks in the market, and drive operational optimisation to improve users' live-shopping experience.
You should have the ability to shuttle from policy formulation to effective implementation to program management, and make and implement nuanced policy decisions.
Responsibilities
- Grasp, track, and analyze key metrics both for creators' performance for videos and livestreaming. Develop data-driven strategies and policies to effectively manage creators' account health, violations, rewards, penalties and consequently, content quality and viewer experience.
- Identify, mitigate, and monitor risks and creators' pain points to raise the overall ecommerce content ecosystem quality and personalised recommendations. Develop and implement new signals, metrics and engage in risk discovery – to identify new content quality and abuse trends and develop policies to address them.
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of the Philippines market including regulatory/compliance developments, competition programs and benchmarking. Adapt policies to the evolving market needs and regulatory landscape.
- Develop, launch and implement new policies and operational workflows – in collaboration with cross-functional teams like Regional, Operations, Moderation, Product, and Business teams – to enhance large-scale automation, risk detection and mitigation, as well as quality assurance and improvements.
- Act as an escalation point of contact and manage internal and external communications on all E-commerce creator and content policy issues. Promote transparency and understanding of policies, including assessing creators' plans of action in response to enforcement actions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong bachelor's degree or above or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in data-driven roles involving development of programs and/or framing policies.
- Preferably also have experience in end-to-end project management taking initiatives from 0 to 1 and ability to drive effective partnerships with cross-functional teams to align on common goals.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations to drive actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in E-Commerce, marketplace platforms, social media, or content creation.
- A grasp of the national and regional culture and context, as well as compliance landscape in the Philippines.
- Demonstate enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to develop new skills.
- Expertise in communication skills, driving for results and managing changes with ability to influence positive outcomes.
- Willingness and an inclination to roll up sleeves, work with stakeholders, review data and content to tease out on-ground realities and address gaps accordingly.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar data tools.
