Welder II/III – Pressure Vessel and Structural Welding
Pay: $25.00–$33.00 hour depending on experience
Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday
Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Welders for a full-time opportunity in Colorado Springs. This is a high-skill fabrication role working with pressure vessels, structural assemblies, and complex weldments.
What we look for in Welder II/III candidates:
- Strong welding background with carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys
- Ability to perform 6G welds using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes
- Experience producing X-ray quality welds
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex drawings and weld symbols
- Ability to fit and fabricate weldments with consideration for heat, shrinkage, and tolerances
- Comfortable with pressure vessel or structural fabrication environments
- Comfortable with transitioning between different projects
Testing Requirements:
- Shop Math Test and Weld Symbology Test
- Weld Tests:
- 6G GMAW Downhill
- 6G FCAW Uphill
- 6G GTAW
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years welding and fabrication experience
- Must be able to pass welding certification tests and pre-employment screenings
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (No Sponsorships Available)
- This position may have background and drug testing requirements
