Primary Function
The Sr Low Code Developer will develop and deploy cutting edge business technologies using a productivity focused development platform. The daily work will be focused around solving business problems quickly and elegantly with technology solutions.
Principal Duties
- Collaborate with business subject area experts, software developers, and technical leadership as part of a dynamic and fast paced project team to design and build elegant, high-impact business applications from start to finish.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to define project scope and requirements, and translate business processes to functional specifications and user stories.
- Lead technical design sessions to define user experience, data definition, process / rules configuration, and integration for intelligent automation solutions.
- Lead the build, test, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions using industry leading vendor technologies.
- Act as the Sprint team Dev Point when needed. Which includes creating Release Candidates, technical mentoring of team members, acting as a Dev Buddy for new hires, high participation in Brainstorming sessions, and some customer interactions of a technical nature.
- Collaborate with diverse teammates on the software development process and agile methodologies
- Lead demonstrations to business stakeholders
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Management or other quantitative discipline with specialization from an accredited college or university
- 5-7 years of experience in automation, software development, or data analysis
- A minimum of three years of experience with system implementations along with basic understanding of key concepts related to Software Development Life Cycle, Information Security, and Digital Transformation adoption
- Minimum 3+ years with Outsystems.com low code framework.
- Experience with Outsystems, Mendix, Appian or other low code development is required.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Skills in understanding and diagraming business logic workflows
- Experience with applications implementing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, and Delete)
- SQL and database knowledge
- General programming and development proficiencies (Javascript, C#, SQL, etc.)
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Creative, but technical problem solver: quick thinking and fully engaged at all points in the solution from strategy to support
- Team oriented: engaging with a group of people to conquer project tasks
- Interested in future technologies and software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with clients at multiple levels as well as ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A strong understanding of Mortgage Servicing and Mortgage Default Servicing is a plus.
