Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to transport goods, materials, or passengers to various destinations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers.
- Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
- Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed.
- Ensure vehicle is in good working condition by conducting regular inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel use, and trip reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate with dispatchers or clients to provide updates or handle issues.
- Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and presentable.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on the vehicle type).
- Clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a driver preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and assist with loading/unloading when needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):
- CDL Class A or B license.
- Experience with GPS devices or routing software.
- Familiarity with local area routes and traffic patterns.
