We are looking for a dedicated IT Business Analyst to strengthen our IT team. This role focuses on analysing business needs and creating functional and technical solutions to drive innovation.

The position is to cover the role of IT Business Analyst for our core platform, AirLOG, which supports Air Forwarding all over the world. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts, and you will design and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your customers. You'll work closely with our Air Logistics Team to find the best technical and functional solution for new feature requests to support and enhance our Air Logistics services.

How you create impact

  • Requirements management – helping business cost-effectively implement technology solutions by determining the requirements of a use-case and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
  • Assisting in the gathering and analysis of requirements, ensuring they are effectively documented and articulated to both business stakeholders and developers.
  • Collaborating with business experts and architects to functionally clarify and validate requirements.
  • Eliciting and documenting system requirements to support solution development.
  • Modelling functional and technical entities to ensure alignment with the solution architecture.
  • Documenting functional and technical designs in accordance with established patterns for consistent implementation.
  • Creating system handbooks for super users and administrators based on implemented functionalities.
  • Participating in team practices, performing gap analyses, evaluating upcoming tasks, and constructively challenging processes and products for continuous improvement.

What we would like you to bring

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent proven experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a business analyst, including gathering and defining business requirements and re-engineering business processes.
  • At least 2 years of experience with UML methodologies; experience with Enterprise Architect is a plus.
  • Experience with version control solutions and the ability to analyse and solve problems with a holistic approach.
  • Strong interest in design methodology and functional specification, with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience facilitating discussions and leading focus groups with end-users at various levels.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, along with strong listening, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with an innovative and creative approach to problem-solving.
