QUALITY INSPECTOR

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards before delivery. Strong communication skills and a passion for quality are a must. If you're proactive, adaptable, and ready to drive continuous improvement, we want you on our team!

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Review in-process facility procedures and the final condition of vehicles to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Audit rail and truck away procedures to ensure transportation processes align with customer specifications.
  • Confirm vehicle VIN numbers and verify that all scheduled work has been completed accurately.
  • Keep detailed, accurate quality control records in line with industry requirements.
  • Quickly identify quality concerns and report them to management, providing suggestions for corrective action.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and provide feedback to management on their effectiveness.
  • Perform other related duties as directed to support quality assurance processes and overall goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong understanding (or the ability to quickly learn) accessory, distribution, rail, and body shop processes.
  • Capable of identifying vehicle quality issues and leading efforts to implement effective countermeasures.
  • Good communication skills, able to work well with others and keep good relationships with others.
  • Ability to read, understand, and suggest improvements to operational procedures.

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:

  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (Training provided if necessary)
