Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles arriving by vessel or rail, identifying any damage or factory defects
• Conduct or assist with quality surveys across multiple departments
• Participate in Safety Committee meetings and perform facility-wide employee health and safety audits
• Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of all quality and safety concerns to management

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Strong task management skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, customer specifications, and perform basic math
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
• Physical ability to:
  • Work in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.)
  • Lift, carry, and hold up to 30 lbs
  • Walk or stand for extended periods, and occasionally bend, stoop, or climb ladders
• Comfort operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:

• 1-2 years of experience in an automotive or warehouse setting

The surveyors hourly wage starts at 23.00 per hour.
