We’re looking for a Regular/Senior Developer Vx MES to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for the implementation of software solutions based on technical requirements provided by the business and stakeholders. Depending on your experience, you may also lead and provide technical expertise in software development and solution design for large, complex MES projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and advise on technical matters across development functions (Senior Developer).
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and enhance existing software to meet unique customer needs.
  • Develop and deliver solutions, addressing complex technical questions about our products, systems, or services.
  • Analyze and translate requirements into technical proposals, ensuring our products and services integrate seamlessly with customer infrastructure.
  • Estimate resources, time, and technical needs for modifying, configuring, and installing our solutions.
  • Apply software design principles to research, design, and develop new or existing products, tools, and processes.
  • Work with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to meet customer needs.
  • Stay updated on architectural standards, technology roadmaps, technical landscapes, validation requirements, and GSK policies.
  • Support Product Managers and the delivery team in transitioning new applications into production.
  • Share knowledge and maintain development standards through regular workshops and training sessions (Senior Developer).

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields (consult manager on related fields).
  • 3+ years of experience in software development for Developer role.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development for Senior Developer role.
  • Experience with agile/scrum techniques.
  • Good database systems and SQL knowledge.
  • Familiarity with VBS and C#.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience with MES or other industrial software (SCADA, Historian, Batch systems or others).
