DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections are required.
Communication with Route Supervisor.
Monitor all gauges, dials, other indicators to ensure they are working properly, if something is not working, report it to the route supervisor immediately.
Fulfill all assigned route pickups daily
Operate hydraulic controls.
Tarp loads when required.
Operate tipper at landfill.
Drop and hook trailers daily as needed.
Backing and navigating truck in tight spaces.
Ensure loads adhere to DOT load securement requirements.
Clean interior of truck as needed.
Notify Route Supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage immediately.
Operating truck in all weather conditions and work environments.
Notify Route Supervisor or dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, streets, alleyways or any potential safety hazards.
Knowledge of proper DOT loading, transportation and shipping procedures for commodities.
Must maintain a verified and unexpired Commercial driver’s license and safe driving record.
Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.
