Our Enterprise Systems Consulting (ESC) team works with clients to implement and optimize enterprise systems like Workday Adaptive Planning, enabling them to improve their financial planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior will work hands-on with financial systems, collaborating with clients to solve real-world problems, and finding ways to make processes more efficient and effective. This role will also be responsible for understanding clients financial planning needs to effectively implement solutions while diving into system technical elements as needed for projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map out their business operations, define goals for their planning cycles, and identify key metrics that drive decision-making
  • Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with best practices
  • Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Help clients streamline their financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to reduce the time clients spend compiling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis and strategy
  • Provide training to client teams to ensure they can effectively use the tools and systems implemented
  • Create clear and concise documentation of processes, reports, and system configurations for both clients and internal use

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; major in accounting, finance, or information systems preferred
  • Workday Adaptive Planning experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of corporate financial accounting experience required along with 1 year of corporate financial planning experience
  • Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred
  • Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate business value of systems enhancements or process change as well as communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%

Compensation Range: Remote: $82,000 - $150,000; Washington State: $82,000 - $131,000; Colorado: $82,000 - $125,000; New York: $82,000 - $137,000
