Job Title: Production Worker - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker for the 2nd shift, from 3pm to 11pm, with mandatory flexibility to work on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Train new workers effectively to ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Collaborate closely with other Production Supervisors to ensure effective production handovers.

Essential Skills

• Bi-lingual Spanish communication skills required for effective interaction with production staff.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with diverse populations and personalities.
• Exhibit professional behavior and maintain emotional control in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
• Understanding of principles, practices, and procedures in the food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve productivity goals.

Work Environment

Work in a standard food production warehouse environment near moving equipment and machinery. Expect exposure to moderate to loud noise, fluorescent lighting, and the pleasant smells of cookies and other food products. Adherence to cleanliness and sanitation is essential, with shifts typically lasting 8-12 hours, offering flexibility for day or night work. Products manufactured may contain peanuts and tree nuts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
