Under general supervision, the Crane Operator (Material Handler III) is responsible for pulling raw coils for the paint line entry end, unwrapping and inspecting raw coils and unloading/loading trucks from both A and B bay crane. These tasks require the use of an overhead crane. Communicates daily with employees from Maintenance, Operations and Quality Control to help resolve any problems and help achieve company goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Pendant overhead crane operating experience
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment

Preferred:

• Forklift experience
• Manufacturing/warehouse experience

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic computer skills
• Time Management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Detail Oriented – ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Good communication skills
• Mobile equipment operations skills
