Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Press Brake Operator for a 1st Shift schedule, working four 10-hour shifts with an optional half-day on Fridays. You will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, shape, and form sheet metal and other materials according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of mechanical drawings and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and material requirements.
• Set up and operate the press brake machine to bend materials.
• Align and position materials accurately.
• Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
• Perform machine adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance of the machine.

Essential Skills

• Experience with press brake machine setup and operation.
• Ability to interpret and work from blueprints.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
